ERBER AG awarded the “Hermes.Wirtschafts.Preis” 2016 business prize

“Hermes.Wirtschafts.Preis” 2016 business prizeThe “Hermes.Wirtschafts.Preis” award is an annual prize for excellent entrepreneurship in Austria. An independent jury chaired by Theo Siegl from Leitbetriebe Austria Institut, evaluated and selected the nominees and the winners in the different categories.

ERBER AG won in the category “International Enterprises” due to its growth strategy which has made it possible to double its turnover every 5 to 6 years and subsequently increase the number of required employees. (Net turnover of the Group was increased from about 230 million to more than 280 million euros from 2014 to 2015.)

The success of ERBER Group (with holding company ERBER AG) is the result of the work of its committed employees. “ERBER Group pursues an ambitious growth strategy supported by efficient and modern human resource management. Our primary goals are to be an attractive employer, the implementation of modern management tools, the promotion of internationality and the creation of conditions which make a performance oriented and fair company culture with clear values possible.” said Heinz Flatnitzer at the award gala where he also announced that ERBER Group plans to recruit about 150 new employees in the upcoming 12 months, 50 in Austria alone.

This award is an appreciative distinction for excellent entrepreneurship in Austria for the success story and the economic and scientific commitment of ERBER Group which over the last 30 years has developed from a 3 man business to a global player with about 1,400 employees.
