General Management - Skipper at the steering wheel
More than two thirds of our senior managers were promoted nto their current position from within ERBER Group. At the middle management level, the share of internal careers is about 45%. Exemplary careers of women in senior management positions at ERBER Group prove our credo of equal opportunities for man and woman. The same is true for the general principle to create conditions that enable our employees to align professional and personal life – even in a management position.
Listen to what ERBER Group managers have to say:
Klaus talks about being a Managing Director at Romer Labs
“I am the Chief Research Officer of ERBER Group and since May 2019, also Director of Executive Board of the ERBER AG. How did I get there? It all started after my PhD thesis in the field of Biochemistry. At that time I worked as Scientist in the BIOMIN research department. We were a team of four postgraduates and made a great discovery that formed the base of one of the most successful products of BIOMIN. Three of us still work for ERBER Group. My career path in R&D continuously went upwards – including two gorgeous kids."
“I joined BIOMIN as Regional Sales & Marketing Director Asia Pacific. Later, as Managing Director for this region, my main responsibility was to drive growth in this very important market. A pretty successful ride together with a great team. I really enjoyed it. In 2017 I was entrusted the position of Chief Executive Officer of ERBER AG and moved to Austria. My background? I graduated in Biochemistry-Microbiology and hold an Executive MBA.”
"When I joined ROMER LABS as Area Manager in 2006 I couldn´t imagine to become Managing Director of ROMER LABS Division. The international motivated team and our spirit are responsible for the success and offer great career opportunities for top performers."
"I studied law in Rio Claro and worked in the human resources department of several international companies in Brazil. In 2014, I joined SANPHAR as Senior HR Manager. A couple of years later I became HR-Business Partner for the entire SANPHAR division. I was also in charge of HR for ROMER LABS Brazil. This role and the close collaboration with the senior management of ROMER LABS in Austria allowed me deep insights into ROMER LABS business and their Brazilian market. When the position of Managing Director ROMER LABS Brazil became available, I was asked to take over this position. First I hesitated, but the encouragement of the ROMER LABS Division Head and of our HR Director as well as the strong trust I felt from their side seeped away any doubts. So far, I have not regretted the decision for a second. My superior said, that my people skills combined with my legal background are indispensable assets for the growth of ROMER LABS Brazil."
